1. Emerge from bed half an hour earlier than usual:

You can kick off your day- while taking things slowly. Try meditation, writing, or even yoga, so that you can ease into the rest of your day.

2. Drink a full glass of water:

Quench your thirst with a glass of water first thing in the morning right after you wake up to get your body going.

3. Expose Yourself to sun:

Set yourself in a good mood by increasing your energy level in the day before by exposing yourself to sunlight.



Skincare Routine



1. Create a skincare plan:

Ensure the health of your skin by using a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.

2. Exfoliate once every seven days:

Scrub off dead skin to show glowing, smooth skin.

3. Apply face masks:

Nourish your face with a healing face mask which also gives a relaxed feeling.


Mindfulness Self-Care Routine



1. Try to implement breathing techniques:

Reduce your stress and calm your mind by concentrating on your breathing pattern.

2. Implement progressive muscle relaxation*:

Slowly squeeze and give tension to separate sections of your muscle in order to relieve it.

3. Go on a mindful walk:

Notice what you feel and observe around you as your body is moving.


Creative Self-Care Routine



1. Give journaling a shot:

Talk to a piece of paper by writing, drawing, or creating a collage.

2. Pull out the paint or drawing pad:

Use different mediums to make art when you want to release emotions as part of your creativity.

3. Writing poetry or short stories:

Composing poems and short stories helps in relieving stress and also serves as a very basic form of self expression.


Self-Care for Your Body

1. Get a good massage:

A good body or sports massage helps relieve tension in muscles and provide the freedom of motion. If you cannot access a massage parlour, then get a friend, partner or sibling to provide massage at home.

2. Take a warm bath:

Sometimes a warm bath with epsom salt or essential oils can work wonders too.

3. *Yoga and Tai-chi:

Slow movements serve excellently for improving relaxation, flexibility and balance while cultivating deep breathing practices.


Telecommunications Self-Care



1. Social media customizability:

For example, stop following accounts and pages that make you feel negative and unfollow tricksters and accounts that engage you with a mindless scrolling.

2. Block emails:

Make it a habit to take breaks from emails. Emails, along with notifications serve as distractions for deep concentration and form relaxation.

3. Reduce use of technology:

Put your device aside for a specific time or during very important events like having meals or going to bed.


Self-Care for Your Mind



1. Challenging self talk:

Aim to think better of yourself by turning harsh self-criticism into another form of positive self-talk.

2. Focusing on feeling thankful:

Gratitude as a practice for rewiring one's brain has recently gained a lot of attention. This deeply affects one's over wanting harmful aspects of life.

3. Learn to say not:

Establish proper boundaries by kindly turning down obligations that do not match your values or priorities.

Physically Self-Care

1. Get adequate rest:

In order to feel energized and rested, take breaks for around 7 to 9 hours every night.

2. Participate in physical activities:

Whether you prefer to walk, swim or make sure you move your body in ways that feel right to you.

3. Maintain a balanced diet:

Ensure that you consume healthy sources of food such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and protein.

4. Drink enough fluids:

Especially water, make sure that you drink ample fluids throughout the day so your body functions well.


Mental Self-Care



1. Self-regulate and forgive:

Allow yourself to be in control of your social media accounts. Block, unfollow, or mute people who negatively impacts your mental well-being.

2. Set healthy boundaries:

Give yourself time to rest. Avoid people who make you feel drained.

3. Take a break from technology:

Step away from gadgets and avoid reaching for them over meals.

4. Build healthy interdependence:

Accept and ask for help from people when you are feeling overwhelmed.

5. Help others:

Show kindness to other people because kindness improves your mood.


Self-Care your self 



1. Being compassionate with yourself:

Place limits upon yourself, set time aside to recharge, and practice self-compassion. Additionally, be compassionate towards yourself when things don’t seem to go your way.

2. Disrupt harmful self-talk:

Listen to what you tell yourself and do your best to speak to yourself in a more positive, realistic manner.

3. Look for social support:

Try to find individuals who will assist and inspire you. Seek their help when you feel like you need it.

4. Be grateful:

Try to remember at least one thing you are grateful for every single day.


Spiritual Self-Care



1. Connect with your values:

Reflect deeply on that which you value most and equally strive to ensure your goals and actions are in synergy with those values.

2. Forgive and let go:

Master the art of forgiving and work on letting go of grudges and negative sentiments. Strive to focus positive energies to move with kindness and understanding.

3. Nurture your spirituality:

Look for different ways to relate to your higher self, whether it's through praying, meditating, or simply going out to nature.

Remember that self care is different for different people; it is not a one size fits all strategy. Try several activities and customs to see which appeals most to you.
